Alexis Scott
Alexis Scott began riding and showing Arabian horses at the age of four. She began her youth career by winning National Champion in the Lead Line 6 and Under division at the first ever Arabian/Half-Arabian Youth National Championships in 1993. Since then, Alexis has won National Championship titles in Western Pleasure, Hunter Pleasure, and, most recently, Saddle Seat Equitation. Overall, Alexis has won 11 National Championships at the Arabian/Half-Arabian Youth Nationals and National Show Horse Finals. Alexis also has a National Reserve Championship in Hunter Pleasure, and numerous National Top Ten awards. Alexis also has multiple Regional Champion, Regional Reserve Champion, and Regional Top Five awards. Alexis also has an abundance of local 1st Place and Championship wins. Alexis finished out her youth career by qualifying for a spot on the 2006 United States Saddle Seat Equitation World Cup Team. Alexis and the rest of the team traveled to South Africa in December of 2006, and returned with the Gold Medal in the Three Gaited Saddle Seat Equitation division. Alexis is only the second rider from the Arabian/National Show Horse breeds to make the World Cup team.
Alexis is now 21 years old, and is a junior at Simpson College in Indianola, IA.
Erin Carlson - Instructor/Trainer
Erin Carlson has been riding and showing Arabian horses from the tender age of three. Throughout her youth career she competed at the national level and won numerous National Top Ten awards as well as a National Reserve Championship title in Western Pleasure, and a National Championship title in Stock Seat Equitation. Erin has also won multiple Regional Championships, Regional Reserve Championships, and Regional Top Five awards. Erin also has numerous local 1st place and Championship wins. Erin finished out her youth career with three Top Ten placings at the Arabian/Half-Arabian Youth National Championships in Albuquerque, NM in the Saddle Seat Equitation, UPHA Challenge Cup, and Half-Arabian Country English Pleasure divisions. This was Erins first year showing in the Saddle Seat and UPHA divisions, and she placed third overall!
Erin is now 19 years old and is currently enrolled at Des Moines Area Community College.
