The Riding Lesson Program at AKS Farms:

 

Alexis' goal with her students is to build the skills necessary to be proficient in horsemanship, no matter the discipline.

​

Riders are taught progressive programming to learn riding concepts so that they may advance in any direction. Riders can feel comfortable and confident in the saddle whether they are showing or trail riding.

​

Riders are accepted from the age of four on up, all skill levels. Lessons are given in Western pleasure and the English pleasure riding disciplines of Saddle seat and Hunter seat.

 

In barn and outside shows are available to students at  AKS Farms so they may participate in and show off their skills at shows with other riders from around the metro area.

Competition helps riders learn to get comfortable implementing their skills on their own, so they may feel confident in their ability in the saddle. Plus, it's fun!

 

Lessons are held Monday - Saturday on an hourly basis.

Riders pay a monthly tuition for a weekly group or private lesson.

​

Most months will include four lessons per month (one lesson per week). Tuition does not increase for months with five weeks, nor does it adjust for missed lessons.

​

Weekly lessons start at $250 per month for group (all-level) or private beginner lessons.

Weekly private intermediate/advanced lessons start at $275 per month. 

Individual lessons may be purchased for $60 (beginner) or $70 (int/adv)

per lesson.

Lessons may be cancelled/postponed due to illness, inclement weather, vacations, horse shows, etc. 

Cancelled lessons may be rescheduled at any time. Please keep track of missed lessons.

Refunds will not be issued for cancellations.
